Dean Spotlight - Robby Kloke

Robby has been married to Susan for 32 years. They have 2 children, and one grandchild.

Robby has been coming to Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp for almost 20 years now, and has been the Dean of Junior Camp for 8 years. Although he never came to camp as a camper, he brought his son, Ben, when he was a kid. Robby fell in love with camp and has come back almost every year since!

Robby said, “Junior Camp is crazy. I want to let the kids know that being a Christian is fun. You can sing, do the chicken dance, and praise God!”

Robby works in a prison ministry, and this, he says, has given him new perspective. “I see the people on the other side of the prison bars, and I want to help keep the kids that come to camp on this side.” Kids should come to camp to have fun, and get away from the busyness of life. They will get to experience love from strangers who love God. This is why adults should come to camp. Adults have the opportunity to be positive role models and to love on so many kids!

Robby also enjoys woodworking and uses that skill to build games like Giant Jenga, Kerplunk, and more for Camp!
